So, we know that Scientific Notation is used by everyone and that its is a way to rename very large or very small numbers. We also know that it consist of a coefficient, an exponent, and a base.
Writing a number is scientific notation:
1.) Put the decimal after the first digit and drop the zeroes.
2.)Find the exponent, counting the number of places from the decimal to the end of the number.
Writing a Scientific Notation to a number:
1.) move the decimal point the number of places prescribed by the exponent on the 10.
Negative Exponents:
1.) Move the decimal after the first number from the left that is not a zero.
2.) Count how many spaces the decimal was moved.
